FREE FAMILY ARTS & LITERACY NIGHT
March 26th, 6:30-8 p.m.
Everyone loves a good story. Experience storytelling by three of San Diego’s best- Alyce Smith-Cooper, Marilyn McPhie, and Abel Silvas. Listen, laugh and participate! Discover your own story with artist Stacie Greene by creating a story quilt with a variety of art materials. Each child will receive a copy of “Pablo Neruda: Poet of the People” by Monica Brown.
Save the date! Family Arts & Literacy Nights will also be held on May 16th.
FREE FAMILY READ & PLAY DAY
March 31st, 10-11 a.m.
All participants will receive a copy of the book “Bear’s Bargain” during story time on the magic carpet. After the story, toddlers will use their creativity to create a kite and build in the imagination playground.
Save the date! Free Family Read & Play Day will also be held on April 28th, May 26th, and June 30th.
April 4th, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Families are welcome to bring their children (ages 0-11) for a day full of Easter activities, visits by the Easter Bunny, and a hunt for more than 17,000 eggs!
HEROES TAKING FLIGHT PARTY
April 15th, 5:30-7 p.m.
A superhero-themed evening of free food, fun family activities, and opportunities to learn about and donate to our Heroes Program & Scholarship Campaign. This year, we have set our goal at raising $95,000 to help more than 2,000 of our neighbors in need have access to the life-changing programs at the Kroc Center. Additional food will also be available for purchase.

Celebrate Recovery meets every Monday at 6:15 pm.
We have live music, a positive vibe and lots of fun people to encourage you in your recovery.Meetings offered include Christian 12 Step Recovery, Biblical Recovery for the drug addiction, Alcoholism, Codependency, Guilt/Shame, General Accountability. We also offer an Adult Bible Study (not recovery-oriented) for those who use our Monday night events as a mid-week church service.
