Kroc Center Ice offers Youth In-House Ice Hockey for kids 6 to 16 years old. Kroc Center Ice teams participate in the San Diego Metro Hockey League, where they will play against other youth in-house programs in San Diego. YOUTH METRO LEAGUE
Recreational In-House Hockey played under the auspices of USA Hockey Rules & Regulations. San Diego Saints Youth InHouse teams participate in the Greater San Diego Metro Hockey League.
SAN DIEGO SELECT LEAGUE
San Diego Select League for Peewee through Midget aged Travel, Tournament & District level players. League starts April 2015.
(Kroc Center Ice & San Diego Ice Arena are not participating in the District Hockey League this summer season.)
LEARN TO PLAY HOCKEY
Tot Hockey – Youth Hockey Learn to Play program for children 3-5 yrs old
Prerequisite – Tiny Tots or Kinder
Introduces hockey to younger children through basic skills.
Kinder Hockey – Youth Hockey Learn to Play program for children 3-5 yrs old
Prerequisite – Tot Hockey
Small area games. Preparation for Termite/MiniMite youth inhouse hockey.
Youth Rookies – Hockey Learn to Play program for children 6-12 yrs old
Prerequisite – Hockey Skating class
Building on fundamental hockey skating skills, learn how to play the game and participate in Skills Clinics alongside current Saints Youth Hockey Players. All Rookies get unlimited FREE Public Skating while enrolled.
Kids 6-13 years without skating or hockey experience will start with Beginning Skate moving into Hockey Skating and then join the Rookies program.
SAN DIEGO SAINTS YOUTH HOCKEY CLUB
Competitive non-profit youth travel & tournament ice hockey club fielding teams ages 8 to 16 (Mite – Midget) an opportunity to compete at the highest level. The mission and purpose of the San Diego Saints Amateur Hockey Club is to assist in developing character through exposure to hockey. The San Diego Saints Hockey Club strives to create an experience for young athletes that will positively affect them well beyond their playing days by encouraging, developing, advancing and administering the sport in a responsible manner.
