ADULT HOCKEY

Kroc Center Ice offers Learn to Play Hockey programs and Adult Ice Hockey Leagues for players at all skill levels, novice to advanced. Division 5 games are Monday or Wednesday nights, Divisions 3 and 4 play Saturday nights while Divisions 1 and 2 play Sundays. Ages 18+

Interested in learning to play ice hockey? Our “Adult Rookies” class is just for you! Sundays 9:15-10:30pm.  Full equipment and USAHockey is required.

LEAGUE RULES

Div 1 & 2 play Sundays
Div 3 & 4 play Saturday nights
Div 5 (Beginner to Novice) play Monday/Wednesday nights

ALL players and goalies MUST have current USAHockey registration.  USAHockey registration runs annually Sept 1-Aug 31

Players registering online MUST bring a copy of their registration to the ice arena.

GAME LENGTH:

Three 20 minute periods

1st period - 19 Run 1 Stop.

2nd period - 19 Run 1 Stop.

3rd period - 15 Run 5 Stop.

Stop Time in effect the last 5 minutes of the 3rd period unless there is a 5+ goal lead in which case Run Time is used until the goal differential is reduced to 2 goals.

SUBSTITUTES:

Teams with less than 8 players and a goalie will be allowed subs with rink approval. The team taking subs CANNOT have more players than the opposing team & no more than 8 players + goalie total (ex. 5 and a goalie can take 3 subs).

Sub players must be paid current season players and play in the same division or a division below (i.e. Div. 1 players cannot sub in Div. 2) as the team needing subs.

Teams requiring 4 or more subs will take a loss in league standings for that game but the game will still be played.

Only goalie subs are allowed during playoff and championship games.

PENALTIES/GAME MISCONDUCTS/SUSPENSIONS:

WEDNESDAYS D5 & SATURDAYS D3/4- FOUR penalties in one game will result in ejection from that game. Game Misconducts issued for but not limited to Fighting, Butt-ending, Spearing, Intent to Injure, Instigating, Head Contact, Kicking & Head Butting will result in an 2 game suspension for 1st incident in a season. The 2nd incident in the same season will result a 3 game suspension + hearing. The 3rdincident in same season will result in the player being suspended for remainder of season.

SUNDAYS D1/2- FIVE penalties in one game will result in ejection from that game. Players in multiple leagues/divisions will have their game misconduct applied to all leagues.

Only Match Penalties may be appealed to the Hockey Director / Rink Manager.

FEES:

Split payments can only be made on a Credit or Debit card. No cash or checks are accepted for split payments. NO EXCEPTIONS. Team fee must be collected by the captain and paid in full prior to game 2.

Drop-In Rate - $40. One game ONLY! Must provide proof of current USAH insurance

ROSTERS:

Any team may have a maximum of 20 players (19 + g). The rink may add players to “non-team fee” teams of less than 13 players.

No new sign-ups or roster additions after week 7. All team rosters are frozen after week 7.
