Membership and Program Scholarships:
The Salvation Army Kroc Center is committed to Joan Kroc’s vision of offering world-class facilities and programs to people in this community regardless of income. Only with the continued support of the community have we been able to maintain a scholarship fund that allows children, adults, families and seniors to become members, and participate in life-changing programs—even when they can’t afford the cost. The Annual Heroes Program and Scholarship campaign helps to make this possible. Whether you would like to apply for a scholarship, or donate to the scholarship fund, we want you to know how it all works.
Thanks to generous donor support nearly $70,000 in day camp scholarships were given to those in need. Unfortunately, funds are no longer available for this year’s Summer Day Camp. Scholarships are still available for our memberships and programs such as basketball, hockey, soccer, karate, dance, and music.
Pick up an application packet at any Guest Service Desk, phone 619.269.1430 or e-mail to: email@example.com for more information. Once your application is received, an FRC Associate will contact you to set up an appointment to discuss your scholarship.
How do I apply? You can download the PDF application form here or or pick one up at the Family Resource Center on the far West side of campus. Be sure to bring the required documentation (listed in FAQ) when you visit.
The following FREE services are available to clients of the Family Resource Center.
