Membership and Program Scholarships:

The Kroc Center’s Family Resource Center (FRC) provides scholarships to Day Camp and other programs for families needing financial assistance who meet our zip code and income eligibility requirements. Funding is limited.  Please visit or call 619.269.1430 for a complete listing of services and to see if you qualify (documentation required). Please email for more information. Scholarship funding is from generous donations from our Heroes Campaign and private donors. The Scholarships Program provides partial assistance for memberships and programs such as camp, aquatics, sports, dance, and music.

Thanks to generous donor support nearly $70,000 in day camp scholarships were given to those in need. Unfortunately, funds are no longer available for this year’s Summer Day Camp. Scholarships are still available for our memberships and programs such as basketball, hockey, soccer, karate, dance, and music.

Pick up an application packet at any Guest Service Desk, phone 619.269.1430 or e-mail to: for more information. Once your application is received, an FRC Associate will contact you to set up an appointment to discuss your scholarship.

How do I apply? You can download the PDF application form here or or pick one up at the Family Resource Center on the far West side of campus. Be sure to bring the required documentation (listed in FAQ) when you visit.
